We kicked off the event with a lively Q&A session where our enthusiastic uni-student volunteers connected with the kids, answering questions and handing out snacks as prizes. The energy in the room was contagious!
Following the Q&A, everyone got their creative juices flowing with DIY workshops. With the guidance from our volunteers, the children created beautiful bead accessories and preserved flower decorations, making meaningful gifts for themselves and their loved ones to celebrate the festivities.
To wrap up the day, each participant received a thoughtful gift set, including cute stationery, cozy neck warmers, hot packs, and more. It was our way of spreading warmth and encouragement to them.
This event was a fantastic example of how our student volunteers can connect with society, giving back through their time, talents, and compassion. By fostering such connections, we aim to build a community where we all support each other.
We’re excited to collaborate with more NGOs and continue making a positive impact. If you're an organisation looking to partner with us or if you want to get involved, we'd love to hear from you!
